Declan Foxly’s Diary #7

Doobie was back in his cat basket this morning.

He probably saw one of the posters. Mum screamed when she saw him. The little ones both ran off into the living room and hid behind the curtains. Mum’s eyes bulged up like water balloons. I’m glad they didn’t burst. Doobie leapt out of his basket and back out through the cat-flap. Luckily for all of us it’s raining so he slunk back in after about a minute.

He’s happy to stay out for days but doesn’t like his hair getting wet. He has clamped himself to Mum’s lap on the sofa all morning.

I ended up making my own breakfast, Jaffa cakes and chocolate coins. I’ll end up toothless at this rate.
